Unexpected rude service got you down? Why not pay for the certainty—where a glare and middle finger are all part of the experience.

You might have already heard of Karen’s Diner, an Australian chain that went viral for its cheeky concept. The themed restaurant leans heavily into the Karen meme and its use to quickly describe the “I want to speak to your manager” rudeness of an entitled middle-aged white woman.

Now, the interactive Karen’s Diner is on tour, bringing its 1950s-style diner vibe and intentionally rude staff to Edmonton on September 16 & 17. Tickets are $55 per person and include a burger, fries, and a soda—and all the Karens you can manage.

The burger menu will feature beef, chicken, and vegan options, and will presumably have similar names to their brick-and-mortar location, where you can order The Basic Karen (wagyu beef patty with Swiss cheese, beetroot & garlic mayo), The Fiery Karen (wagyu beef, onion rings, jalapeños & peri-peri mayo), and The Country Karen (crumbed thigh fillet, bacon, weet chilli aioli).

Adds-ons will also be available on-site if your diner experience wouldn’t be complete without a milkshake or dessert. But we can’t promise you won’t be yelled at for it.

However, Karen’s Diner does promise great food, dedicated staff, and tons of laughs! Come for dining with a twist and see what all the fuss is about.

POPUP LOCATION: DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel West Edmonton | 16615 109 Ave. | Sept 16 & 17
TICKETS: Must be booked online. $55 per person (incl. burger, fries, soda)
