Incredible cosplay is just one of many great things about the Edmonton Expo!

This weekend in Edmonton promises it all: celebrities, parties, dancing, dining, and family fun! What are you checking out first?

1. Edmonton Comics & Entertainment Expo | Sep 15–17
Let’s go, nerds! Head out to the Edmonton Expo Centre for this three-day pop-culture convention where you can check out all kinds of vendors and exhibits, panels and workshops, and even meet some of your favourite comic stars, creators, and celebrity guests.

2. Kaleido Family Arts Festival | Sep 15–17
Kaleido is coming back to Alberta Ave, bringing light and joy and filling hearts with music, art, and acts that are a wonder to behold, and (as always) free to the community! Discover the action along 118 Ave, between 90th and 95th street.

3. Karen’s Diner Popup | Sep 16–17
Ugh, Karen. So rude. And this touring popup diner gives you the luxury of paying her for it! Enjoy burgers, sass, and maybe the middle finger at the DoubleTree by Hilton West Edmonton.

4. Nosh Food Fest | Sep 16–17
It’s free admission to access 100+ talented food and beverage vendors, brought to you by the team from Wholly Handmade in Sherwood Park. Vendors this weekend include YEG Smoked Meats, Au Chocolat, Golomein Noodle House, Prairie Bears Cider Co., Spuehler Sisters’ custom wood products, Boba Bar, and more.

5. El Unico Gio’s Album Launch Party | Sep 17
Come support El Unico Gio, the first Latino artist in Edmonton to be nominated by Latin Awards Canada! He’ll be releasing his 12-track album and partying with Montreal’s Landy Garcia, Toronto’s DJ Travieso, and Edmonton’s DJ Cookie. 18+
