Hear ye, hear ye! Calling all teens!
Let it be known throughout the land that your presence is requested at the AGA’s next Teen Night on Friday, April 19 from 5-8 pm. Attend this joyous fare, replete with mirth and merriment. Bringeth a dear one and revel in the night!
Inspired by Medieval and Renaissance Faires, this event includes a friendly tournament, pageantry, art activities and more!
Costumes are encouraged!
Teen Night is presented twice per year. It is planned and organized by the AGA’s Youth Council.

AESA Esports Tour
Looking to learn more about esports?
Scholarships for students, career opportunities, and more, will all be explored with the AESA Esports Tour!
Hosted by the Alberta Esports Association and partnered with NorQuest College and the Edmonton Federation of Community Leagues, this program will be an educational session on this exciting new industry, discussing health, wellness, digital citizenship, and followed by a Super Smash Brothers and Mario Kart tournament.
Alberta Esports Association understands that while esports is an exciting activity, it also requires the same discipline and practices demonstrated in high-level traditional sports. This means living a healthy lifestyle, balancing esports with school, and much more.
Join them as they help educate the local Edmonton community on what esports is all about and get ready to play!
Valley Reflections: Art Exhibit
Join Bugera in welcoming Jim Davies to the gallery on Saturday, April 6 from 1:00-3:00 pm. Refreshments will be served. Jim Davies has been a prominent figure in the Edmonton art scene for decades. He is a truly unique talent and his paintings bring our familiar prairie environments to life with a sense of unmatched drama and warmth. There is something almost otherworldly about his masterful use of chiaroscuro and playful brushstrokes that whisk us away into these breath-taking landscapes.

Candy & The Beast: A New Mystery Thriller
Candy & the Beast is a mystery-thriller set in the town of Black Falls where everyone has awakened to the realization that they have a serial killer problem. A series of residents have gone missing — only to turn up dead. Meanwhile, a pack of wild wolves roam the woods that surround the town, seducing local domesticated dogs to their doom. Candy Reese and her little brother Kenny set out from the trailer court to track down the killer and bring them to justice.

The most recent winners of the Banff International String Quartet competition, these four talented graduates of the Juilliard School offer their fresh and innovative take on classical music.
An Intimate Evening With Sarah McLachlan

Concordia Symphony Orchestra presents The Garland of Ragas
The Concordia Symphony Orchestra joins Vancouver-based sitarist and composer Mohamed Assani in his work Scheherazade for sitar and orchestra.
The ensemble once again unites Eastern and Western music traditions, this time in an exploration of the five elements of Nature: Earth, Water, Fire, Air & Space.
Assani will perform in a sitar & tabla duo followed by traditional Indian dance and singing. Orchestral works include Ravel’s Alborada del gracioso, Stravinsky’s “Infernal Dance of King Kashchey” from The Firebird Suite, Smetana’s Moldau, and Márquez’s Danzón No. 2.

The 116th Annual Edmonton Music & Speech Arts Festival (formerly known as the Edmonton Kiwanis Music Festival) creates over 2,500 opportunities for over 20,000 music students, actors, musicians, and music lovers to perform in front of an audience and receive professional adjudication. Performances are FREE to attend. Choirs will run April 15-19; Bands will run April 22-26; the regular Solo Festival will run April 20 – May 1.
