With Halloween around the corner and tons of fall activities, get ready for another weekend of fun in Edmonton!


Edmonton Rock N’ Gem Show | October 20 – 23

Head down to the West Edmonton Mall Ice Palace to browse crystals, minerals, and more from around the world! This event is hosted by Silver Cove, one of Canada’s largest rock and gem companies.

Elevate Acro Festival | October 21 – 23

Featuring instructors from across North America, this new festival gives participants the opportunity to enhance their acro practice! They will also be offering workshops in a variety of skill levels, so beginners are welcome!

Boo! at the Zoo | October 22 & 23

Trick-or-treat with the animals this Halloween season! Head down to the Edmonton Valley Zoo for halloween festivities, animal education, and more. Costumes are encouraged.

Live Theatre | various

Theatre season is in full swing and we’re thrilled! Head down to the Jubilee Auditorium for the Edmonton Opera’s season opener Tosca. If you’re a fan of comedy, check out The Wrong People Have Money from Shadow Theatre, which follows a group of investors as they attempt to relocate the entire country of Greenland. Or, if you have a flair for the dramatic, grab front row seats to Northern Light Theatre’s Squeamish, a haunting show that examines phobia and compulsion. The Walterdale Theatre is also launching their season with The Glace Bay Miners’ Museum, a Canadian tragedy centred on a mining family from Cape Breton.

Edmonton Makers Market | October 22 & 23

Celebrate Edmonton makers at the Alberta Aviation Museum this weekend! You can browse pottery, soaps, woodworks, jewelry, and so much more – all from local artisans. This market is the perfect opportunity to support local.

Beverly Dining Week | October 21 – 30

Visit the historical neighbourhood of Beverly and sample delicious dishes from 9 different restaurants. This event is a great opportunity for Edmontonians to go on a culinary journey and support family-owned businesses. Participating restaurants include Swiss2Go, Old Beverly Café, Kingdom of Spices, and more!
