Pretty Woman: The Musical | april 14–16

One of the most beloved rom-coms of all time is taking the stage at Edmonton’s Jubilee Auditorium. Fall in love with free-spirited Vivian and cutthroat Edward, featuring an original score by Grammy winner Bryan Adams.

NHL Street Festival & Street ShowcasE | April 14–15

Kids are taking to the streets of Edmonton’s Ice District to celebrate all things hockey! The NHL & RCX Sports have paired up to bring a brand-new flair to Canada’s favourite sport. Kids from ages 6 to 16 will be facing off against other local teams, complete with official NHL Street gear. Cheer on these young stars by heading down to the Ice District Fan Park!

Halfway to Halloween Night Market | April 15

It’s never too early to start preparing for spooky season. Check out this fun night market at the Alberta Aviation Museum to explore over 85 different local vendors and artists.

Filipino Restaurant month | Until APril 30

Back for their second year, this culinary event is highlighting the amazing cuisine of Filipino restaurants across Canada. Enjoy prix fixe menus at some of Edmonton’s best local spots, including Filistix and Manila Grill Express.

The Grindstone Comedy Theatre & Bistro | April 14–15

Looking to laugh? Check out The Grindstone Theatre to get your daily dose of comedy! This weekend you can enjoy The 11 O’clock Number, their award winning improvised musical comedy.  Also on this weekend is The Prairie Improv Federation: Chucklemania, which involves several pro-improvisors facing off in the ultimate improv showdown. Don’t miss it!

TELus WOrld of Science–Edmonton | ongoing

Immerse yourself in the vibrant educational world of the TELUS World of Science this weekend! On top of their amazing permanent exhibitions, you can enjoy Antarctica in IMAX, which features never-before-seen footage of one of the harshest environments on earth.
