Downtown Defrost | April 7–8

Celebrate the end of winter with a family-friendly music festival at the iconic Louise McKinney Park. Dance the night away while enjoying electronic music from both local and international DJs. There will also be lights, installations, and special all-ages portions of the park.

Easter Saturday Activities at Edmonton Downtown Farmers Market | April 8

Enjoy a full day of Easter fun with the Edmonton Downtown Farmers Market! On top of featuring their permanent vendors located on the first floor, the Market will be hosting an Easter Egg Hunt. Simply find the Easter Eggs scattered around the Market and return them to the Info Booth for a chance to win an Easter basket filled with local goods.

Easter weekend at Telus World of Science | April 7–10

Spend an educational and exciting day at TELUS World of Science. They’ll be hosting special Easter activities, including Egg-stronaut Landing at The Science Garage and an Egg-citing Bird Search in CuriousCITY. On top of these events, visitors can explore all the other fun exhibits and shows included with paid admission. Step into Out of the Depths: The Blue Whale Story to learn more about one of the world’s most marvellous creatures or experience all the wonders of Antarctica in IMAX.

trouble in mind | til April 16

Written in 1955 by American novelist Alice Childress, Trouble in Mind is a comedy-drama that examines the racism in the New York Theatre scene. Follow Wiletta Mayer as she takes action against those who seek to undermine and invalidate her arguments. A historic production with a meaningful message, Trouble in Mind has been called “the play of the moment” by the New York Times and nominated for several Tony Awards. Don’t miss out on the chance to experience this stunning production right here in Edmonton.

Saturday Morning All-you-can-eat Cereal Cartoon Party | April 8

Heal your inner child with Metro Cinema’s classic Saturday morning event. Binge your favourite sugary cereals while enjoying non-stop retro cartoons. They’ll be screening all your favourites plus some obscurities complete with vintage commercials and PSAs. This event is a favourite among kids and adults alike so don’t miss it!

Manning’s Eggcellent adventure | April 8

Manning Town Centre will be filled with Easter activities this Saturday! Head down to check out tons of free fun, including games, goodie bags, and an opportunity to meet the Easter Bunny. Festivities run from 12:00pm–3:00pm.
