1. Downtown Farmers’ Market | May 18 & 19

Experience the magic of this 360-degree immersive art and music cinema experience in the Zeidler Dome. Mesmerica is a visual music journey that brings the mesmerizing music of Grammy-nominated composer and percussionist, James Hood together with visually-hypnotic, 3D animated art curated from artists around the world.

3. Snow Valley Aerial Park | opens for the season May 18
Located at the Snow Valley ski hill is an outdoor adventure—the first of its kind in Canada. With over 100 games and challenges, the aerial trekking tower is fun for the whole family. Strap yourself into a harness and get ready to test your balance—and nerve—on a ski bridge, snowboard balance bridge, picnic table, bicycle, coal car, travel trailer, and a few surprises. 4. Ukrainian Cultural Heritage Village | opens for the season May 18
History is brought to life at this living history museum that tells the settlement story of Ukrainian pioneers in Alberta. Costumed role players recreate authentic pioneer, cultural, and agricultural experiences among more than 30 restored buildings. It opens for the season on May 18! 5. Metro Cinema Lord of the Rings Movie Marathon | May 20
ALL. THREE. FILMS. IN. ONE. DAY. (Extended versions!) And, if you need a summary, there’s a ring and it needs to be destroyed, but only in the lava of one particular volcano in a VERY BAD PLACE. Queue the epic adventure and treacherous journey.
