Officially opened in 1912, the Legislature is where the 87 Members of the Legislative Assembly meet to debate and discuss public policy. This main heritage building is a must-see for those interested in architecture, politics, and history, and also provides a beautiful setting to relax on a park bench or on a walk around the grounds. It sits in the heart of downtown Edmonton and overlooks the river valley. Take in a guided tour, and then head to the nearby Visitor Centre for the Borealis Gallery, 4-D Pehonan Theatre, and the Agora Interpretive Centre.
