Take a seat, please – the show’s about to start! ZENON+ is the musical union of two Calgary creators, who formed in October 2019. ZENON is an award-winning singer/songwriter who plays keys and guitar alongside the duo’s beat keeper BEV on percussion and singing harmonies.
Their genre-scape stretches from A to Z, offering a sound that is jazzy, soulful with an R&B groove and their live shows are dynamic, featuring distinct originals from ZENON’s debut album GENRE Z, paired with select standards and covers. An uncanny ability to weave through recognizable tunes is impressive, especially from the wide repertoire of renowned artists from many genres such as Bill Withers, Etta James, Amy Winehouse, Nina Simone, Chris Stapleton, Adele and even Freddy Mercury.
