Live at the Winspear presents Canadian organist Mark McDonald on the Davis Concert Organ. McDonalds diverse career has included performances with the National Youth Orchestra of Canada, the Victoria Symphony, and Cirque du Soleil. He will make his Winspear Centre debut performing Holsts The Planets. Written between 1914-16, this piece represents all the known planets of the Solar System seen from earth at the time, and their corresponding astrological character.
