Support Love

The 2014 Winter Olympics have garnered a lot of political attention, and Lush Fresh Handmade Cosmetics has created a campaign to support everyone’s right to love. LUSH is encouraging the public to show their solidarity by posting selfies wearing a pink triangle symbol to their social media networks using #signoflove. The “sign of love” pink triangle is seen as a global symbol of LGBTQ rights. The photos will be compiled as a petition to give to the Russian government in an effort to stop fueling anti-gay violence. Visit www.lush.ca/signoflove for more information.

Skate Like an Olympian

Well, maybe you can’t perform a triple lutz jump, but you can skate on the same size ice rink as the professionals do! The Ice Palace at West Edmonton Mall is a NHL-sized rink, and Olympic figure skater Kaetlyn Osmond, from Sherwood Park, had her official Olympic Send-Off on this rink before heading to Sochi!
