Halloween | Oct. 31
It’s the spookiest night of the year, and there’s lots to do to celebrate in Edmonton! Check out our roundup of the best Halloween events for kids, families, and adults across YEG.

Concerts & Music

1) Hotel California: The Original Eagles Tribute Band | Oct. 29
Enjoy all of The Eagles’ hit songs, as performed by a world-class tribute act! This internationally-touring show is coming to the River Cree Resort & Casino; a select few tickets are still available.

2) Bardic Form | Oct. 29
This one-of-a-kind, award-winning act combines folk, Latin, classical, and contemporary music. Catch the show at Sherwood Park’s Festival Place!

3) Latin Romance | Oct. 29
Unwind from the workweek with great food and live Latin music at Stanhope Eatery’s Latin Night, featuring live music from Rumba Caliente. Be sure to ask about their weekly menu specials!

4) Rivers Wide: From Swanee to Sîpiy (ᓰᐱᕀ) | Until Oct. 30
This concert is a celebration of rivers around the world and the music that inspired them. Hear classics like The Blue Danube waltz and Gershwin’s Swanee, along with songs by Indigenous composers and spoken word performances by Brandon Wint.

5) Kane Incognito / El Niven & The Alibi / Eamon McGrath | Oct. 30
This triple feature at Festival Place promises an evening of folk, punk, and rock that’ll get you moving. Headliners Kane Incognito bring power and raw energy to the stage with a dynamic, unforgettable sound. Doors open at 7:30 pm.

6) Who Made Who & The Retrofitz | Oct. 30
Who Made Who promises the ultimate AC/DC tribute experience, which you can catch LIVE at Blues on Whyte! The Retrofitz are an Entertainer Of The Year Award-winning dance band guaranteed to get the crowd dancing.

7) La Banda Goza Homage to Grupo Niche | Oct. 30
Enjoy an evening of LIVE Latin music with this tribute to Grupo Niche, one of the world’s foremost Latin bands. Dance along to the music of a full 14-piece band! This event is 18+ only.

Stage

1) Craig Conant | Oct. 28–31
As seen on MTV and the Just for Laughs Comedy Festival, Craig Conant is coming to The Comic Strip at West Edmonton Mall! His unique comedic voice makes for a show to remember.

2) EVO Presents: Synthia Kiss | Oct. 29
Catch Canada’s Drag Race Season 2 star Synthia Kiss LIVE at Evolution Wonderlounge! Other perfomers for the evening include Emmonia, Onika Xtravaganza, Artasia, and more.

3) Little Women: The Musical | Oct. 29–31
See this classic tale on stage at the Maclab Centre! Louisa May Alcott’s beloved novel, chronicling the lives of the March sisters in Civil War-era America, is brought to life by Opera Nuova. Catch the performance in-person or via livestream.

Art Exhibits

1) A Century of Mark Making, 1921–2021 | Begins Oct. 30
Celebrate a century of the Edmonton Art Club with this brand-new exhibit of contemporary art, including a handmade mural crafted entirely with birch tiles. The exhibit is on display at the Art Gallery of Alberta.

2) Roger Arndt | Oct. 30–31
View and purchase the works of Roger Arndt at Picture This Gallery during this special, two-day exhibit. You can also observe the artist in action as he teaches a painting masterclass—or sign up to participate yourself!

Sports

1) Edmonton Elks | Oct. 29
The Edmonton Elks face off against the Hamilton Tiger-Cats in a home game at Commonwealth Stadium! Cheer on the green and gold—and be sure to buy your 50/50 tickets! The game starts at 7:45 pm.

2) Golden Bears Hockey | Oct. 29
The University of Alberta men’s hockey team takes on the University of Regina Cougars on home turf at Clare Drake Arena! The puck drops at 7 pm.

3) Edmonton Oilers | Nov. 1
Go Oilers Go! The Edmonton Oilers play against the Seattle Kraken in a home game at Rogers Place. Get into the action rinkside or on screens at restaurants across the city. Get your shot at the jackpot with the Oilers 50/50!
