Royal Canadian International Circus | June 8–18

There’s tons of fun to found under the Big Top at the Royal Canadian International Circus! Head down to West Edmonton Mall to enjoy 19 exciting shows including aerialists, trapeze artists, daredevils, and more.

Edmonton Stingers Basketball | June 10

Another weekend, another opportunity to cheer on the home team! The Edmonton Stingers take to the court on June 10 to face-off against the Ottawa Blackjacks. In addition to top-notch basketball action, this game will feature a Women in Basketball celebration! Over 500 athletes will be joining the action for a halftime skills contest and a special afterparty at Central Social Hall. Tickets start at $20 so grab one while you can!

Sustainival Edmonton | June 8–11

The world’s first carnival powered by green energy is taking over the ICE District this weekend. Promoting eco-consciousness, renewable energy, and environmental education through a carnival-style atmosphere, this special event features rides, games, and other unique attractions. Plus, Sustainival offers The Green Beast Eco Challenge, an interactive opportunity to participate in a live-action Amazing Race-style competition to complete a Green Beast puzzle. This event is a great opportunity to have some family fun, all while learning how to live a greener life!

Edmonton Elks | June 11

Football season is here! Head down to Commonwealth Stadium to catch the Edmonton Elks as they take on the Saskatchewan Roughriders for the first home game of the season. Enjoy some pre-game excitement with the K97 tailgate featuring live music and free food and drinks. Plus, there will be fun for the whole family at the Kid Zone with bouncy castles, balloon artists, face painters, and more. Kids 12 and under get in free!

Nextfest | Until June 11

This weekend is your final chance to catch Edmonton’s premier emerging artists festival. Theatre, music, dance, and more take centre stage at Nextfest. During the final weekend you can enjoy several exciting theatre and dance presentations, including Marvel, which uses a group of dancers to explore rhythm and group dynamics. Plus, keep the party going by attending a Nextfest Nite Club, a set of unique art parties that feature installations, performances, and dances.

Yardbird Suite | ongoing

E-TET will be taking the stage at Edmonton’s most iconic jazz club this weekend for a showcase of their exciting new Jazz sound. Featuring stunning original tunes and new arrangements of old classics, this group of young musicians will have you grooving with their amazing talents.

Jurassic Forest | Ongoing

Bringing it back to prehistoric times, Jurassic Forest is the perfect spot for springtime fun. Explore the two-kilometre trail through the beautiful forest that your favourite dinosaurs call home. Stegosaurus, Triceratops, Albertosaurus, and Tyrannosaurus are only the beginning of what you can discover at this special attraction. University of Alberta Botanic Garden | ongoing

Stop and smell the roses at one of the city’s most serene spaces.
