Festivals, concerts, festivities with music, and music with festivities—it’s time to celebrate the weekend.

1. Public Night Market | Aug 25
It’s another hyper-curated night market on High Street and its businesses are ready with treats and deals. Fuel up with dinner, shop late, check out the featured vendors, and enjoy live music and games until 11 pm.

2. Edmonton Pride Festival | till Aug 26
This free event in Churchill Square features a 90s-themed dance party on Friday night with multiple performers, include PROZZAK, as well as a full Saturday of Pride History, special performances, DJs, drag, and more!

3. Symphonies at Snow Valley | Aug 25 & 26
Snow Valley Ski Hill is hosting THREE concerts this weekend with Edmonton Symphony Orchestra. On Friday evening, come for BEETHOVEN, MOZART & MENDELSSOHN, which now also has a Saturday afternoon performance (rescheduled from Aug 23), while Saturday evening is for Hollywood SUMMER FAVOURITES. Ready to see the ESO in action?

4. ESO Outdoor Concert in Stony Plain | Aug 27
It’s the final pay-what-you-can outdoor concert of the summer! Head to the famous Pavilion in Stony Plain’s Heritage Park for delightful renditions of memorable songs spanning multiple genres, including classical, pop, and Hollywood films.

5. Edmonton International Fringe Festival | till Aug 27
Check out some incredible Fringe show while you can! If you’re looking for suggestions, we’ve been binge watching and have highlighted our favourites for you. Plus, a few returnees we’ve liked in previous years should also be a great time.
