It’s supposed to a gorgeous weekend, perfect for all that’s going on! Here’s what’s happening this weekend in Edmonton.

Edmonton Folk Music Festival | Aug 10–13
Pack your sunscreen and bug spray, folks—it’s that time of year again! Time for music lovers of all kinds to head to the hill for multi-stage epic lineups all weekend long, as well as food trucks to keep your energy up and an artisan market to celebrate even more artists. Across seven stages, there’s sure to be something for you. This year’s lineup includes Ben Harper, Fleet Foxes, Tallest Man on Earth, Maria Dunn, Paper Kites, and so many more.

Cariwest Festival | Aug 11–13
Western Canada’s largest Caribbean arts festival features a colourful costume parade (Aug 12 at noon!), Caribbean culture, tasty cuisine, free live music, family fun, and more. The much-anticipated parade starts at 12 pm on Saturday, beginning at 108 St. & 99 Ave. and ending at Churchill Square.

Ride to Reynolds | Aug 12
The epic annual ride to the Reynolds-Alberta Museum features motorcycle displays, live music, food vendors, beer garden, and the latest museum exhibition, Driving Thru the ’70s.

75-Year Margarita Anniversary Party | Aug 12
This adults-only event celebrates the iconic margarita in all its glory! Not only will there be several DJs keeping up the vibe, there’ll be Cointreau swag giveaways, Latin food truck Sabor de Los Andes, and drink specials including the Classic Margarita.

Freewill Shakespeare Festival | till Sep 3
Experience the magical and enchanting world of Shakespeare with live theatre renditions of Romeo & Juliet (tragedy) and Twelfth Night (comedy) in the new Cristal Palace Spiegletent outside the Edmonton EXPO Centre.
