Pop-up markets, innovative culinary experiences, thrilling sports matches, and more—the Edmonton region has no shortage of exciting events to experience. Here’s what’s on this weekend in Edmonton!

1) Makers in Bloom Online Artisan Market | Apr 22–25
Shop local and support your community with the Makers in Bloom market! Presented by Beaumont’s Painted Door Markets, this online pop-up shop features a variety of Canadian-made artisan goods, from pottery to jewelry to perfumes and much, much more.

2) Second Annual Spring Forward Bridal Fair | Apr 24–25
Tying the knot soon, or just dreaming about it? The Whitewood Barn, one of Leduc County’s premier wedding venues, is excited to bring you their second annual bridal fair, featuring a variety of local vendors to help make your special day the best it can be. While the first day of the fair is only open to those who have already booked their event at Whitewood, the second day is open to the general public. Tickets are available through EventBrite.

3) Ilford Photo Walk presented by McBain Camera | Apr 24
Want to brush up on your photography skills or try something new? This Saturday, the Alberta Legislature grounds become your playground for a black-and-white street photography session hosted by McBain Camera’s George Stastny. Attendees will receive a free roll of Ilford HP5 Film to create their own stunning works of art. Space is limited; register on Eventbrite to book your spot.

4) Edmonton Oilers vs. Winnipeg Jets | Apr 26
The Edmonton Oilers are back Monday, April 26th at 7 pm MST for the first of two matchups this week against the Winnipeg Jets. As always, don’t forget to get your 50/50 tickets on game day!

5) Theatre Network Presents: Works in Progress | Apr 25
This Sunday at 2 pm MST, join Theatre Network’s Works in Progress series for a livestreamed development session of Jacquelyn and Hunter Cardinal’s upcoming play Câpân. Each livestream is different and features diverse aspects of the production process, from scene readings to discussions of the play’s evolution. Sessions are free to attend, but donations are welcome to help support Theatre Network programming.

6) Fairmont Hotel Macdonald Patio
While the planned Ephemeral pop-up restaurant has unfortunately been cancelled due to restrictions on indoor dining, the Fairmont Hotel Macdonald is still committed to bringing you an exceptional dining experience with their patio, open again for the season! Enjoy a hand-crafted cocktail as you take in spectacular views of the River Valley. This year, reservations must be made ahead of time.

7) Downtown Dining Week | till Apr 25
It’s the final weekend to enjoy Edmonton’s best downtown restaurants! Find fantastic prices with multi-course, prix-fixe meals available for brunch, lunch, and dinner.
