The Festival of Trees always offers visual dazzles—and this year you can join them online.

Deck the halls, because the Christmas season has officially begun! Start off your holiday season the right way with all of Edmonton’s winter wonders, from markets to find the best Christmas gifts, to dining, to creative exhibitions. Immerse yourself in the feels of the season, and support local establishments along the way!

  1. 1) Final Weekend of It’s About Time: Dancing Black in Canada 1900–1970 & Now
  2. Experience the unfortunately largely undocumented history of Canada’s Black theatre scene before 1970 through dance and intricate visual performance. With contributions from contemporary performing artists, this archival performance explores how blackness has been displayed on the Canadian stage, as well as the confrontation of how audiences and government of the time reacted to such shows.

2) First weekend of Luminaria
Get ready for 360-degree dazzling sights with Luminaria’s mesmerizing lights. In this opening weekend, guests can find what they normally love about this annual event: tranquillity, softened lights, and visual displays of holiday-centred joy!
