Over 450 artists take to the streets of Old Strathcona for Art Walk  as Whyte Avenue becomes a large, outdoor studio and gallery. Enjoy a stroll down the avenue as you watch artists create their work right in front of you. Most of these creatives don’t have work in local galleries, so you’ll likely discover new artists with  unique work! Feel free to talk to  the artists about their inspiration and process, or take home an eye-catching piece to hang on your wall!

While you’re out and about in Old Strathcona, don’t miss the Sand on Whyte Festival. In this annual event, award-winning artists from around the world sculpt magnificent, giant sand creations. You can watch the artists work during the beginning of the festival, and be sure to return in the final days so that you can check out the finished masterpieces!
