Join Edmonton’s #1 Vietnamese restaurant at Taste of Edmonton 2022!
In 2017, there was one word on everyone’s lips: Phorrito.
Just as the name suggests, a phorrito is a combination between two delicious dishes: pho and burritos. The result is beef, vegetables, and rice noodles wrapped in a soft tortilla, covered in hoisin and siracha. And, thanks to Miss Saigon, Edmonton food blogs and Instagram pages were filled with pictures and reviews of this unique dish. While phorritos were largely popularized by a food truck in L.A., this dish’s Edmonton debut caused quite a splash!
Although the famous phoritto is no longer on the Miss Saigon menu, you can still find tons of delicious options at their quaint location right off Whyte Ave. Order a bowl of pho, a vermicelli bowl, or bubble tea served in a lightbulb!
Luckily, you can sample their Vietnamese fare at Taste of Edmonton! They will be serving Lemongrass Chicken with Rice, Pad Thai, and Salad Rolls.
