Cinnaholic will be serving desserts that are 100% vegan and 100% delicious at this year’s Taste of Edmonton!
In 2018, Cinnaholic entered the Edmonton food scene with a bang. When dessert lovers heard of a grand opening special that included $1 cinnamon rolls, they flocked to the 109th street location in large numbers. The result: a line that spilled outside the storefront and hundreds of happy Edmontonians holding freshly baked and personally customized cinnamon rolls.
$1 rolls aren’t the only unique part of the franchise’s history. Edmontonians may be shocked to learn that Cinnaholic’s rise to fame is largely due to a feature on the reality television series Shark Tank. Californian founders Shannon and Florian Radke took their 100% vegan cinnamon rolls to the show in 2014 and, thanks to the publicity that their television debut offered, have expanded Cinnaholic to over 60 locations across the U.S. and Canada. Edmonton’s Whyte Ave location is owned by Melody and Joe Ramos, two registered nurses who are passionate about providing baking for those with dietary restrictions and allergies.
At Taste of Edmonton this year, Cinnaholic will be serving Baby Buns, Mini Cookie Dough Shots, and, of course, their signature Cinnamon Rolls with your choice of frosting and topping.
