Hold on to your lederhosen — Oktoberfest is returning to Edmonton on October 2 and 3! Hosted by Alberta Beer Festivals, Edmonton Oktoberfest celebrates the local community and — of course — beer! An authentic Oompah band will play live music while attendees sample Bavarian-style brews from Germany and local microbreweries. You can also enjoy a vast array of international and local foods that restaurants, such as Pampa Brazilian Steakhouse and Sherlock Holmes Pub, will help you pair with the beers!
Dress up in your finest lederhosen or dirndl, and you could win some awesome prizes from Alberta Beer Festivals and participating breweries and restaurants! And don’t forget to bring a non-perishable food donation for the Edmonton Food Bank — they will be on site collecting donations all weekend.
