The Ice Cross Downhill World Championship brought over 70,000 people to downtown Edmonton in 2015, and it’s returning with a brand-new design and even more challenging features. Considered the “fastest sport on skates,” Red Bull Crashed Ice has competitors fly downhill at speeds of up to 80 km/hr on a steep track complete with bumps, jumps, and obstacles—and four competitors hurtling down at a time! Watch Canadian Jacqueline Legere defend her first-place title for the third time and Canadian Scott Croxall fight to reclaim the first-place title he held in 2015.
