Shaping Sound | January 12 & 13
Get ready for a fierce, vibrant show, courtesy of the Shaping Sound Dance Company! The dynamic group of contemporary dancers brings to life a thrilling blend of dance styles and musical genres, guaranteeing a spectacular show for the whole audience.
Through movement, rhythm and sound, Shaping Sound tells a powerful and moving story, touching on an experience of domestic violence, displaying a heroine’s dream of escape, and her search for what love truly is.
Emmy Award winner Travis Wall, known for his work as a dancer and choreographer on the hit show So You Think You Can Dance, creates an experience that combines a difficult, relatable story with variations in swing, pop, alternative, and classical dance.

Fortier Danse-Création’s Misfit Blues | January 15 & 16
What do you get when one of Canada’s best dancers and one of its best choreographers team up? You get one brilliant, breathtaking show in the form of Misfit Blues!
Dance pioneer Paul-André Fortier and choreographer Robin Poitras create a wild and humorous look at the lives of an older couple. Their more advanced age is a necessity, as they showcase a duo comfortable enough with both themselves and each other to express both love and anger unabashedly.
This performance takes you through the ups and downs of any relationship, with moments of tenderness, madness, cathartic fighting, and reconciliation. Elegant and funny, it’s a not-to-miss experience.

So You Think You Can Dance | January 14
The 13-time Emmy Award-winning show is touring across the United States and Canada with its top 10 finalists, still showcasing its exciting new Stage vs. Street format. This means that you get the experience of both classically trained dancers and skilled hip-hop artists — performing popular routines from the show plus entirely original pieces — in one epic night.
