With the holiday season comes holiday feasting! Whether you’re enjoying dinner for two or hosting a crowd, turn down the pressure and turn up the flavour with delicious take-home holiday meals from some of our favourite local restaurants and caterers.

Classic Feasts

District Cafe & Bakery
On the menu: Turkey with rosemary gravy; buttermilk mashed potatoes; stuffing; herbed carrots; glazed Brussels sprouts; dinner rolls; whipped butter; cranberry sauce

Barb & Ernie’s Old Country Inn
On the menu: Sliced turkey breast; bread stuffing; mashed potatoes; corn pudding; cranberry sauce & gravy; spinach salad; homemade desserts. Optional add-ons: Braised red cabbage; beef rouladen; sauerkraut; cabbage rolls; spatzle.
Serves: 1 order per person
Order Dates: Pre-order by Dec. 16 for pickup Dec. 23–24.

The Hallway Cafe
On the menu: Your choice of maple-glazed ham with grainy mustard or roasted turkey with cranberry sauce; herb-roasted yams; Brussels sprouts; gravy; rolls with whipped cranberry butter; apple stuffing; butter tarts
Serves: 1 person per order

Workshop Eatery
On the menu: Herb-roasted turkey breast, confit turkey leg, and sage turkey jus; cranberry, leek & rosemary foccacia stuffing; buttermilk mashed potatoes; peas & carrots with thyme butter; chipotle maple sweet potato casserole with pecan crumble; Workshop cranberry relish. Optional add-ons: Meuwly’s smoked ham; maple pecan pie; white chocolate cranberry croissant pudding.
Serves: 2, 4, or 6 people per order

Bridges Catering
On the menu: Roast sliced turkey breast with savoury gravy; oven-roasted vegetables; traditional bread stuffing; cranberry sauce; mashed potatoes; bread rolls & butter. Optional add-ons: Perogies; cabbage rolls; baked ham; sticky toffee pudding
Serves: 1 order per person

Sawmill Catering
On the menu: Your choice of baked baguette with rosemary-garlic olive oil; cranberry & thyme biscuits, or vegan buns; fresh mesclun greens; root vegetable & apple bisque; your choice of slow-roasted Alberta turkey, AAA Alberta roast beef, maple-glaze ham, or house-made tofurkey roast; Ukrainian perogies; garlic mashed baby red potatoes, baked candied yam, brussels sprouts, heirloom carrots, oven-roasted butternut squash; your choice of rum & eggnog cheesecake, candy cane mousse, or vegan carrot cake.

L2 Grill at Fantasyland Hotel
On the menu: Waldorf panzanella salad; brined herb-roasted turkey with homestyle turkey dressing and turkey gravy; three-cheese perogies; cranberry and mandarin orange chutney; your choice of Boursin & chive mashed potatoes, roasted herb potatoes, or mashed sweet potatoes; glazed root vegetables; roasted Brussels sprout & bacon lardon; raspberry & pistachio yule log.
Serves: 4–8 people
Order Dates: Pre-order by Monday, Dec. 20 at 5 pm for pickup on Dec. 23–25.

The Westin
On the menu: Assorted baked rustic breads; mixed kale salad; roasted butternut squash soup; marinated turkey; cranberry, sage, & chestnut stuffing; turkey gravy; maple-roasted root vegetables; confit garlic mashed potatoes; festive sweet & salty chocolate yule log. Optional add-ons: potato & cheese pierogies; vegetarian cabbage rolls; slow-roasted pulled beef.
Serves: 2–15 people

Sunterra Market
On the menu: Sweet potato and ginger soup; quinoa apple salad; your choice of herb-rubbed turkey, Soleterra d’Italia Modena ham, rotisserie prime rib, or roasted squash and ricotta stuffed pepper; buttermilk mashed potatoes; roasted vegetables; gingerbread cake with roasted cinnamon apples and caramel.

Celtic Kitchen
On the menu: Turkey; Irvings Farm smoked ham; apple stuffing; mashed potatoes; honey dill glazed carrots; parsnip puree; Brussels sprouts with bacon & cranberries; gravy, cranberry sauce, & mustard; sticky toffee pudding; Susie McConkey’s cheese and traditional scones.

MEAT

Culina to Go
On the menu: Your choice of roast turkey with leek gravy & stuffing or mushroom-chickpea loaf with miso-sage gravy; mashed potatoes with rosemary & edam; Three Sisters vegetable stew with dill; cranberry-cherry sauce; gingerbread Caramunchies

Highlands Golf Club

Fairmont Hotel Macdonald

Backstairs Burger

Options include: Frozen individual turkey dinner (local free range turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, fig stuffing, feature vegetables, peach ginger cranberry sauce); turkey gravy; turkey bone broth
Order Dates: Available for purchase in-store Tuesdays–Sundays until Dec. 24

Century Hospitality Group Home for the Holidays Kits
Options include: Cocktail kits (Maple Old Fashioned, Cranberry Mule, Pomegranate G&T, Hot Toddy, Peppermint Negroni, Mulled Wine Sangria, or Ginger Paloma); casserole kit; breakfast kit; carrot cake pancakes; whiskey toffee pudding; wine & cheese boxes.
Order Dates: Tuesdays–Sundays, 4 pm–9 pm. Allow 48hrs for processing your order prior to pickup.
