There are tons of Pride events being put on this year at some fantastic venues throughout the city. We’ve put together a list for you, so you won’t miss a thing!

KICK-OFF EVENTS

1. Pride Karaoke Edition | June 5 
Come on out and sing loudly and proudly at Evolution Wonderlounge starting as early as 7:30 pm. $10 cover. Evolution Wonderlounge, 10220-103 St.
2. Rainbow Wine Testing | June 6
At this ticketed event, guests are treated to various wines featuring all the colours of the rainbow in support of Edmonton Pride. Tickets cost $45 and the event starts at 7 pm. Devine Wines, 10111-104 St.
3. Imani’s Pride Kick-Off | June 7
Hosted at the Yellowhead Brewery, resident drag queen Imani is throwing a pride party to begin Pride Week. There is a $10 cover charge with only $4 pints all night! Yellowhead has also partnered with Trolley 5 Brewpub to launch a special pride beer. Yellowhead Brewery, 102259-105 St.

DANCE PARTIES

4. Sin:the:sys Pride Edition | June 6
A gothic-themed night of burlesque performed by all queer dancers. The show starts at 8 pm with a $10 cover charge. Evolution Wonderlounge, 10220-103 St.
5. Kitty Glitter Kick-Off Pride Party | June 7
DJ Kitty Glitter will be spinning all night, starting at 9 pm. Cover starts at $5. Evolution Wonderlounge, 10220-103 St.
6. FAB’s Bear Pride Dance Party | June 7
Hit the dance floor and meet new people at this mixer event. Hosted by 9910, located under The Common, this event welcomes everyone and is $10 at the door starting at 9 pm. 9910B-109 St.
7. DJ Honey Soundsystem | June 7 & 8
Fruit Loop, Night Vision, and 9910 present DJ Honey Soundsystem. The DJ’ing trio offer a take on dance music that is in direct opposition to what is blaring on mainstream club speakers. The event starts at 9 pm on June 7 and goes until 2 am on June 8, tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door. 9910B-109 St.
8. Pride on 103 St Community Festival | June 8
Get your dance on, scream and cheer at all kinds of drag performances, and include the kids in the fun by visiting the all-ages family fun zone—you better believe there’s gonna be a bouncy castle! 12 pm–11 pm; $10–20. Located on 103 St between 102 Ave and 103 Ave.
9. Solid Gold Pride | June 8
A big party you don’t want to miss! There will be a special performance by Miss Evolution Ivy League and DJ Kitty Glitter. $20 cover, starts at 9 pm. Evolution Wonderlounge, 10220-103 St.

FAMILY-FRIENDLY EVENTS

10. Pride Picnic | June 8
Come hang out for free in this lush park with family and friends. Bring a picnic, games, and pride-positive energy. Borden Park, 7507 Borden Park Rd.
11. LGBTQIA2S+ Youth Dance | June 8
A safe space for youth to dance and play board games. No drugs, alcohol, or admission fee! Starts at 7 pm. ASPECC, 12031-76 St.
12. Ivy’s Magic School Bus | June 8
A first-ever comedy drag show by Little League Productions—ages 14+ are welcome and tickets are $12. The Roxy, 8529 Gateway Blvd.
13. Queer Youth Art Club Exhibition Open House | June 9
Here is an opportunity to view youth art projects, live performances, and enjoy catered snacks. Admission is free and the event starts at 1 pm–4pm. ASPECC, 12031-76 St.
14. Pride Church Service | June 9
With a “Power of our Stories” theme McDougall United Church welcomes all to come to the church service and indulge in Pride cake and refreshments. Free, 10:30 am. 10086 MacDonald Dr.

PRIDE FOOD EVENTS

15. Pride Patio Party & BBQ | June 8
Hosted by the Black Dog Freehouse and the Wooftop Patio & Lounge, enjoy a warm Saturday in style on one of the best rooftop patios on Whyte Ave. Doors open at noon with no cover charge, DJ Eddie Lunchpail starts spinning at 4 pm, and there will be a BBQ from 4 pm–7 pm. 16. Bears in the Park | June 9
Come out to Victoria Park to hang out with the Fellowship of Alberta Bears and enjoy an all-you-can-eat BBQ featuring burgers, hot dogs, salads, and beverages. You are encouraged to also bring a nonperishable food item to support the Edmonton food bank. The cost is $10–15; arrival time is anywhere around 12 pm. Victoria Park, 12030 River Valley Rd.

CAPPING OFF THE WEEKEND

17. Drag Queen Bingo | June 9
9910 and Ruby Gorgeous Salon present Drag Queen Bingo. Attendants can also expect surprise special guest performances. Doors open at 1 pm–6 pm. 9910B-109 St.
18. Thorgy Thor & the Thorchestra | June 9
Come out to see RuPaul Drag Race contestant and self-proclaimed “Queen of Classic Music” Thorgy Thor for a combination of classic orchestra and an extra-big wig drag performance. Winspear Centre, 4 Sir Winston Churchill Sq.
19. Thorgy Thor Meet & Greet | June 9
If you didn’t have a chance to make it to Thorgy Thor’s Thorchestra event, don’t worry! Evolution Wonderlounge is hosting a meet and greet and photo opportunity with the Drag Race superstar afterwards starting at 11 pm–2 am. Tickets start at $20 and can be purchased on Eventbrite.
