1) Sign up for Get Cooking’s Farm to Table Virtual Beef Cooking Class
Is Dad serious about stepping up his BBQ game? If so, he’ll be sure to enjoy this virtual cooking class from Get Cooking in partnership with Chatsworth Farm! This 2.5-hour class will cover everything from juicy burgers with homemade pickles to the perfect steak in a cast iron pan. Participants will also enjoy a virtual tour of the Chatsworth Farm. You can either order beef from Chatsworth farm (for delivery on Sunday, June 19th) or procure your own local beef ahead of time. You can get a ticket for Dad (and yourself!) through the Get Cooking website.

2) Get a delicious takeout dinner from Pampa Steakhouse
Treat Dad to a gourmet spread of breads, salad, seafood, and, of course, mouthwatering cuts of meat with Pampa’s Father’s Day Takeout Dinner. Extra add-ons, like cocktail kits or a bottle of wine, are available to kick your meal up a notch. For the grill-loving dad, try the Butcher Shop BBQ kit; everything is pre-marinaded and ready to put on the barbecue. Takeout dinners are available for pickup on Saturday, June 19th and Sunday, June 20th, while BBQ kits are available for pickup on Saturday, June 19th only.

3) Enjoy an unforgettable performance with Edmonton Opera’s Drive-In Opera
If Dad’s a fan of the arts, he’ll love this chance to hear a concert of classical favourites performed live from the roof of the Jubilee Auditorium! Tune in with your FM radio to enjoy the show. Tickets are going fast, so be sure to get yours ASAP.

4) Take in some gorgeous cars at Vegreville Agricultural Society’s Father’s Day Event
Take your dad out for a day trip to Vegreville and take in some gorgeous machinery at this free car and vehicle show. This drive-in parade features antique cars, tractors, motorcycles, bone wagons, and more. Plus, you’ll have the chance to win a gate prize—a gas-powered pressure washer or $500 cash.

5) Explore the reopened Art Gallery of Alberta
The AGA reopens to the public on Sunday, June 20th! In celebration of June’s National Indigenous History Month and National Indigenous Peoples Day on June 21, admission will be free for reopening day. It’s a great way to spend time with Dad and enjoy some of the best art in Edmonton. Find a list of current exhibitions here.

6) Surprise him with a BBQ package from The Carrot
The Carrot’s Chef Shane Chartrand has put together a delicious menu for Father’s Day, including roasted chicken, BBQ pork spareribs, Sweet n’ Spicy BBQ sauce, and cold-brew coffee. Each package serves 2; order online for pickup or delivery (within Edmonton only) on Sunday, June 20.

7) Indulge in tasty treats from The Art of Cake
The Art of Cake has three amazing gift options for you to treat your Dad: choose between Cupcakes & Beer, Millionaire Bars & Whiskey, or Shortbread & Scotch! Pick up your gift package on Saturday, June 19th or Sunday, June 20th.

8) Pick up a BBQ Box from Freson Bros Grocery
