- The works in this exhibition at the Art Gallery of Alberta traces the boundaries of the body and reference garments and adornment in many forms. These literal and symbolic objects of attire allow their ‘wearer’ to explore a myriad of issues including identity and representation; objectification and empowerment; mythology and history; imagined futures and the afterlife.
- 8. Corteo – Cirque Du Soleil | until December 31
- The clown Mauro envisions that his own burial will take place amid a carnival atmosphere and be attended by tender angels. The show contrasts the grand with the intimate, the silly with the tragic, and the beauty of perfection with the appeal of imperfection.
