Hosted by the Edmonton Economic Development Corporation and some of the city’s most successful entrepreneurs including: Entrepreneurs’ Organization, Startup Edmonton, Alberta Women Entrepreneurs, TEC Edmonton, Junior Achievement, Capital Ideas and Edmonton Executives Association, E-Town is the first business festival to hit Edmonton.

The festival promises two days of exchanging ideas and engaging conversation, and with a star-studded line-up of keynote speakers, it certainly won’t disappoint. Some of the impressive speakers include:

Chris Hadfield — Canada’s very own astronaut, who blasted off from Kazakhstan in December of 2012, has been using the power of social media to make space, and his experience there, available to millions around the world.

Hilary Mason — This talented lady, amongst many other things, is the chief scientist at bitly and co-founder of HackNY. She was on the Forbes “40 under 40” list, and has also appeared in Glamour, Fast Company, and Scientific American magazines. She is also a member of New York mayor Bloomberg’s Technology and Innovation Advisory Council.

Guy Kawasaki — New York Times and Wall Street Journal bestselling author of twelve books, special advisor to the Motorola business unit of Google, the co-founder of Alltop.com, an “online magazine rack” of popular topics on the web, and a founding partner at Garage Technology Ventures — Kawasaki’s list of  entrepreneurial experience is never-ending.
