Every Chapel Hats location has a story to tell, and the West Edmonton Mall location is no exception. Besides being a premiere destination for fashion-forward headwear, stepping foot in the shop is like being transported to a different time. You’ll see a 19th-century factory cart, tabletops made from French riddling and once used in winemaking, and other salvage from old shops and factories. It’s the hats, however, that steal the show. From steampunk top hats to cloches and fascinators, there’s something for every taste and budget. Just be sure to leave yourself time. The staff encourages customers to try on 5 to 12 hats before making a decision and are happy to offer suggestions.
