If you’ve ever sang “Auld Lang Syne” to mark the new year, then you’re familiar with the work and legacy of Robert 
(Robbie) Burns! As Scotland’s most famous poet, he’s been celebrated and honoured across the world since 1801, when a few of his close friends marked the fifth anniversary of his death with a supper. Calling all ladies and lassies! Chef Richard Toll will be preparing a four-course meal to celebrate Robbie Burns, with scotch and whisky for purchase. Bagpiper Chris Arbter will add some cheer to the festivities by playing music that evening. Visit the website for tickets.

Robbie Burns Dinner & Dance | January 24 | 6 pm
Hosted by the Edmonton Police Service Pipeband, this event will feature traditional Scottish fare, fantastic entertainment, and a silent auction. Fionn MacCool’s has planned a traditional and festive party with live readings of Robbie Burns’ poetry, a performance from a piper, and local band The Rural Routes. They’ll be serving a tasty, locally made haggis, which will be free for all attendees. Also, the bar will be exclusively selling a limited-edition scotch whisky porter by Innus & Gunn, which is sure to add a customary kick to your evening!
