Bid Farewell to Edmonton’s Northlands Coliseum

The Northlands Coliseum, formerly Rexall Place and former home of the Edmonton Oilers, is finally closing its doors. Stop by to bid farewell to the beloved concert, sports, and events venue at its free Farewell Weekend!

Friday, December 15 | 7 pm
Take in a final charity hockey game as the Spruce Grove Saints take on the Okotoks Oilers! This free game will also have a specile appearance by hockey legend Ryan Smyth.

Saturday, December 16 | 9 am – 4 pm
Enjoy free public skating and a complimentary pancake breakfast! Time slots must be booked in advance. (EDIT: Ice skating is now sold out, but you can still visit the Coliseum at this time!)

Sunday, December 17 | 3-10 pm
Celebrate with a Multicultural Round Dance with Treaty 6! Local Indigenous artisans will also have handcrafted items available for purchase.
