  1. 1. Holiday Magic comes to City Hall | December 8
  2. Holiday Magic at City Hall offers music students in elementary and junior high a chance to showcase their talents and delight audiences with their festive repertoire. Grab your family and friends for this festive and delightful show!
  3. 2. House of Hush: Nutcracker Burlesque |December 8
  4. This naughty re-imagining of the Nutcracker is cl-ass-ical, comical and spectacular. See some of Edmonton’s best burlesque performers as they fill you with delight from the top of your head to the tips of your tippy-toes. There will be snowflakes, the Sugar Plum Fairy, peppermints, mouse royalty and more! 
  5. 3. Handel’s Messiah | December 8 – 9
  6. Enjoy Handel’s Messiah, a holiday classic conducted by Nicholas McGegan, featuring the Richard Eaton Singers with Edmonton Symphony Orchestra. This is sure to be a delightful evening of great music!
  7. 4. Style Experience: FIS Snowboard Big Air World Cup | December 8 – 9
  8. Experience a world-class mash-up of snowboarding and style as the Style Experience: FIS Snowboard Big Air World Cup returns to Commonwealth Stadium. This event will feature the best snowboarders from across the globe, launching massive tricks from the very top of the Stadium. Be part of this exciting one-of-a-kind spectator and entertainment-focused festival, celebrating snowboard culture. 
  9. 5. Candlelight Christmas at Muttart Conservatory | December 8 – 12
  10. Have a Candlelight Christmas at the Muttart Conservatory! This event includes two 45 minute musical performances from The McDades, who have been a part of this special event for over 20 years. It will take place in the feature pyramid and centre court. There will be an intermission with seasonal, family-friendly refreshments. 
  11. 6. Walterdale Theatre presents “Harvey” by Mary Chase | December 8 – 16
  12. A true friendship is hard to find. Finding unconditional loyalty is challenging. When Elwood P. Dowd finds both in Harvey, a 6-foot-tall white rabbit, those around him are quick to judge. Elwood’s unwavering belief in the existence of Harvey causes confusion and concern among his family and friends, leading them to question his sanity.   14. Head to Candy Cane Lane to experience a much-loved Edmonton holiday tradition! Remember to bring a non-perishable food donation for the Edmonton Food Bank.

  16. Revel in an engaging musical dramatization of Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol adapted for narrator and choir, featuring imaginative arrangements of traditional carols and vibrant original music combined to bring a familiar festive tale to life!
