Celestial Passage is an augmented reality that uses the AGA’s Main Hall as a simulated observation site for viewing North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) satellite data in real-time. Visitors can navigate a data portrait of orbiting traffic amongst artificially-generated angels. The work blends fantasy with reality to address globalization and the complexity of space politics.
