Schmoozy is Latitude 53’s signature annual fundraising event that celebrates artists and the community that supports them.

For Schmoozy 2022, they’ve created a month-long exhibition and series of events that is free to the public. 50% of the proceeds of the works sold go back to the participating artists.

This year, Schmoozy also includes a collaborative project with friends at Glass Bookshop that pairs artists and poets in Edmonton’s community to create new work for the exhibition, and new artist multiples so that owning works by local artists—and supporting artist-run culture in our city—is easier and more affordable than ever.

All of the money raised by Latitude 53 goes towards supporting our programming, as we work with artists to create exhibitions and events that are free for the community.
