The Canadian men’s national soccer team is participating in their first FIFA World Cup in 36 years and you won’t want to miss out on the action! With games on November 23, November 27, and December 1, you can celebrate (or commiserate) at one of these local spots!

SPDSA FIFA Men’s World Cup Watch Party

Join Sherwood Park’s soccer community for this locally minded watch party! Door prizes, food, and all the action on the big screen makes this the perfect event for FIFA fans. While admission is free, the organization is asking participants to support the community via donations to the Strathcona Christmas Bureau or the SPDASA Inclusion Fund. This event kicks off at 11:00am on November 23, with the game beginning at 12:00pm.

The Cabin

Conveniently located on Jasper Ave, The Cabin is offering $5.50 Heineken and $12.00 brunch on FIFA days!  Beyond the game, you can also enjoy their extensive food menu and the largest Pour Your Own Tap Wall in Canada. Make sure to book your table ahead of time to avoid missing out!

Fuzed Kitchen & Bar

Featuring Canadian cuisine, quality cocktails, and 12 big screens, Fuzed is a go-to spot for sports fans. Located in Century Park, this restaurant opens at 11:00am daily, making it a great spot to watch all those early FIFA games. Plus, they also offer all-day specials every day of the week! Try their $17.00 Roast Beef or grab a $10 Old Fashioned for Whiskey Wednesdays.

The Pint off Whyte

The Voyageurs, Canada’s national soccer supporters’ group, is hosting watch parties across the country to celebrate our national team. Edmonton’s event will be hosted at the Pint off Whyte, with a special appearance by 1986 Canada World Cup participant Carl Valentine. Grab your tickets to this event now!
